Osamu Fujimura

Osamu Fujimura (藤村 修 Fujimura Osamu?, born November 3, 1949) is a Japanese politician of the Democratic Party of Japan, a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Osaka, Osaka and graduate of Hiroshima University, he was elected to the House of Representatives for the first time in 1993 as a member of the Japan New Party. He lost in 2005 election but was reelected in 2009. In September 2011 he was appointed as Chief Cabinet Secretary in the cabinet of newly appointed prime minister Yoshihiko Noda.[1]
